Some archives are assembled after history has passed. Others are created from within it.

These ongoing projects emerge through collective participation, gathering voices, memories, and personal testimonies as events continue to unfold. Rather than preserving fixed narratives, they embrace the archive as a living, evolving process—one shaped by conversation, contribution, and shared acts of remembrance.

Through participatory practices, these works ask how communities might document themselves before their stories are rewritten, forgotten, or lost, transforming witnessing into a collective act of care, create spaces where memory is not collected by an institution, but authored collectively by those living through history as it unfolds.
